The Regional WASH Forum, held in Tashkent from May 22 to May 23, successfully brought together a diverse group of experts, policymakers, academic researchers, private sector representatives, and stakeholders from across the region to address critical issues in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).

- A page to display granular and up-to-date data of climate-resilient WASH performance indicators tailored for the Region
- A platform for showcasing and procuring innovative and replicable WASH technologies as well as WASH emergency supplies
- A platform for sharing funding, bidding, and project collaboration opportunities in the Region
- A hub for acquiring regionally recognized training and certificates
- A venue for facilitating policy dialogue and supporting policy making
How the Centre aligns with the 2030 Agenda and SDGs
The proposed work pillars of the WASH Centre are aligned with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the associated Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which ensures a comprehensive and integrated approach to WASH system strengthening in CAREC region, contributing to not only SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), but also SDG 1 (no-poverty), SDG 3 (good health and well-being), SDG 9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure), SDG 10 (Reduced inequalities), SDG 11 (Sustainable cities and communities), 12 (Responsible consumption and production), 13 (Climate action), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
